Maryland Hall @ Home | Student Gallery

To celebrate our students, we are showcasing their works. Many pieces were completed at Maryland Hall, some were started at the Hall and completed at home, and a couple are examples of keeping the arts going at home. Are you a Maryland Hall student? Submit your artwork to our online gallery by emailing us here.

Portraits. From the Artist: These are two portraits I started at David Lawton's portrait class and finished at home.

SHOSHANA RINGEL

Daddy. From the Artist:  This was my first class back at Maryland Hall (Instructor, Stephanie Scarlata) since I was a child. I learned some awesome techniques (I hadn't drawn anything in over 10 years). I am also taking Andrea Olney-Wall's painting classes (I hadn't taken any painting classes in over 15 years and I was honestly worried they would tell me that I didn't belong there, but instead it has been a very welcoming atmosphere) and really enjoying them!

ERIN DUFFY

(l) Bosun, pencil drawing, (c) Small Reflections, watercolor, (r) Estes Park Elk, pencil drawing. From the Artist: I miss days at Maryland Hall - I've taken many classes with Sue Corrigan-Yo and recently was taking a third class from Andrea Olney-Wall.

LISA MCKNIGHT

My daughter, Anneke, in Mrs. Razettis’s RAD class.

Boy, Bangledash. Watercolor painted during Ed Praybe's Watercolor: Material Explorations class.

LOUISE WHITE

From the Artist:  I've taken Urban Sketch and Watercolor with Stephanie Scarlata, last summer. Hopefully, I will be able to participate in some other artistic programs soon. This is what I 've done, recently!

FAHRON NIBBS

Made in a parent/child fused glass class.

EMILIE SCHELL

From the Artist: This watercolor "painting" was created during Kim Hovell’s inaugural Virtual Sip n’ Paint in less than an hour.
I call it Otis’ Oysters. Otis is Kim’s dog and sounds delightful. I had a lot of fun watching Kim...she made me laugh. She also made it so easy to paint along without fear of failure!

RENATE ROSKE-SHELTON

Clear Heart. From the Artist: This is a painting that I worked on during Andrea Wall‘s recent painting with acrylics class. Andrea was kind enough to let me join the acrylic class and pursue my interest. I’ve called this one clear heart.

NANCY MATANIC

Spring. Watercolor painted in Ed Praybe's class.
