Course Description: 

The Fiber Workshop promotes a strong sculptural connection with materials such as yarns, papers, wood, metals, and reeds, to name a few along with techniques such as twinning, weaving, stitching, sewing, knitting, and crochet. Students will create a small vessel or sculpture using new skills as well as conventional skills already aquired. Students are encouraged to bring 'scraps' and 'ends' of projects they have made, along with tools they are comfortable using, for example: knitting needles, crochet hooks, sewing machines, to class daily. Various tools, forms and materials will be supplied for the students. A materials fee of $45 is due to the instructor at the first class. This covers everything you need to complete your work. A smock may be necessary. Please bring a phone or camera to record your progress. This class is for beginners as well as advanced students. For more information, please contact the instructor at
