Alison Bell Belt is a realist figurative sculptor who sculpts in both relief and in the round and has a fondness for portraiture.

Alison has shown her work in many exhibitions in Maryland and most recently her piece, Hope is the Thing With Feathers was at Brookgreen Gardens in South Carolina for the National Sculpture Society's 84th annual exhibition.  She has won awards from the Maryland Federation of Art, TAC, and the Portrait Society of America.

Alison attended the Schuler School of Fine Arts and graduated in 2003.  She has studied under sculptors Tylden Streett, Francesca Schuler Guerin. and Barry Johnston.  She was born in Lancaster, PA and has lived in the Baltimore are since 1996.
