"Every day I would come home and practice the concepts I learned and couldn’t wait to return the next day to learn more. The class opened my eyes to whole new realms of possibility in composing and playing music while also being thoroughly enjoyable. Every instructor was so engaged and willing to help. I could really tell everyone there shared my excitement and love for music, which was a great feeling." ~Jake Robuck

Paul Reed Smith Summer Camp Maryland Hall"The Master Class was truly a wonderful experience for me, even though I have been playing guitar for many years I still was able to learn something that will enhance my ability to play guitar. The instructors are excellent and are very knowledgeable on all instruments. Thank you for showing all of us the best possible way to understand music and the theory of music...I was able to meet new friends, young ones and older ones, it was truly a wonderful experience." ~Emanuel Allen

Paul Reed Smith Summer Camp

"My son participated in the Summer Camp and I am so amazed by the progress he made during the last week. You may be surprised to learn it wasn’t the musical growth, although that was amazing as well, it was his growth as a person." ~Parent of a Participant

"I really enjoyed the experience and working with Bryan, Gary, Greg, Bill, Mike and Mia. It really changed the way I hear, practice and play music. Here's a little video (below) that I made about the 2019 PRS Master Class." ~Kai Rivera

The interactive camp will delve into three main tracks: Rhythm, Harmony and Melody. Students will learn from professional musicians, grow their knowledge of music, gain hands-on experience and expand their skillsets.

Greg Grainger - Drums/Vocals
A skilled architect of rhythm, Greg Grainger is surprisingly fresh in his artistry and musical perspective. Upon hearing him, it is easy to see why Whitney Houston signed him for her 1988 world tour, why Britain’s Rhythm Magazine called his work “solid and tasteful” dubbing him a “rhythm master” and why he is the drummer for international jazz artists such as Acoustic Alchemy, Kim Waters and the drummer for Paul Reed Smith. Greg has worked with other artist such as Lonnie Liston Smith, After 7, and Nancy Wilson, to name a few. At the age of 14, Greg was awarded a scholarship to the highly respected Peabody Conservatory of Music at Johns Hopkins University. Dennis Chambers - Drums

“Tim Pierce is one of the best guitarists and guitar teachers in the world. The very rare quality he has, is that he can make learning the guitar fun and understandable, in a way that improves your playing, that minute, that hour, that day. Highly recommended!” - Paul Reed Smith

Michael Ault – Guitar/Vocals
One of the most gifted guitarists on the Washington D.C. music scene, Mike’s bluesy playing has been a draw to area audiences for decades.  Well known for his work with the Mary Ann Redmond Band, he now performs with Paul Reed Smith Music in the studio, at concerts, tradeshows and PRS guitar clinics across the country and overseas while still lending his talents to freelance projects and doing studio work for both the Discovery Channel and National Geographic.  Mike does over 300 sessions a year with an average of 50 plus sessions for National Geographic’s flagship show, “The Incredible Dr Pol”, playing acoustic-electric guitars, dobro, and mandolin.  He regularly performs with high caliber artists including Carlos Santana, David Grissom, and Davy Knowles.
